How much time should I allow for photos?

Allow about 1 hour for group and family shots, not including travel time. (This is assuming you have no more than 12-15 people in your group. Allow more time if you have a larger group.) For your couples portraits and wedding party photos, ideally plan to spend at least one additional hour.

Can I receive a copy of the "digital negatives" on a disc?

Yes, you can. With any print or album order over $400 I include a high resolution disc of the digital files free of charge. If you are not ordering any prints, a disc can be purchased, or may be included with certain packages.

Can you help me pick the best location for my photos?

Sometimes we can accommodate a meeting ahead of time at your location to determine the best spot for photos, however since most weddings are during the busy wedding season we may not have time to meet with you prior to the wedding. The best option is to pick out 2 or 3 spots that you like (within close proximity) and we can help you choose on the day which one(s) would be best.

When is the engagement photo session?

That is up to you. We can arrange an engagement session months in advance or even just a week in advance. It all depends on how much time you have before your wedding day and if you want to make a guestbook. A guestbook takes up to 2 months. Keep in mind that Engagement session do need to be booked in advance as most weekends will fill up with weddings quite early in the year.

Do you do destination weddings?

Yes. For most locations we charge the regular package rate plus our actual travel costs. Depending on the location, that may vary. Please contact us for details.

Can I make my own prints?

Yes, you can, but we strongly recommend that any prints be ordered from us for two reasons. 1)  We can not guarantee the print life or quality of any printed images that are not supplied by us. 2) The files supplied (although technically perfect) will not have been processed or cropped and re-sized for printing on any specific printing device. All prints ordered from us are specifically formatted on a calibrated monitor and color corrected to our chosen printer's ICC color profile so that they turn out exactly as they should. This ensures that you look your best in your prints.

How many images will I get?

We usually deliver about 300-500 photos for a full day wedding- and sometimes more. The amount really depends on how long we are there for. If we are just covering the ceremony, then it's much less than if we cover the full day, getting ready and the reception.
