Where are you located?

I am based in Vancouver, BC and will travel to North Vancouver, Burnaby, and of course within Vancouver for your wedding or photo session.

Other locations outside the Fraser Valley or Lower Mainland: Whistler, Vancouver Island, Kamloops etc. please inquire for a personal quote on travel fees. During the winter months, you will usually find me somewhere warm - perhaps Spain or Costa Rica - two of my favourite spots. Contact me if you are having a Spanish or Costa Rican wedding and maybe I'll be in the area already!

Can we meet before I hire you?

Yes. I am happy to provide no-obligation meetings to discuss your wedding or photography ideas, but due to the nature of these meetings (being free consultations), please come out and meet with me in lovely downtown Vancouver! I promise I'll pick a really nice Starbucks for us!

Do you shoot any black and white images?

Since I shoot digitally, all images are captured in color. When I'm doing the post-processing of the photos I can either do the adjustments in color or black and white as long as I know ahead of time what you want. Usually I will create some black and white and some color photos for every wedding, based on what looks best for the particular image.

What are your rates?

We provide custom quotes depending on your requirements, time needed and location of photo shoot.

Wedding packages:

• Wedding packages start at $650 and go up to $1750
• Extensive packages with albums and digital images are available
• Customization is availble for all wedding packages
• Prints, albums and digital images on DVD are available, and may be included with some packages

Photo Albums:

• From $450-$2000 and up, depending on paper type, cover, pages numbers etc.
• Options: leather cover, acrylic cover, metallic pages, various sizes

Hourly photo sessions:

• $225 (weekdays)
• Generally 20-40 images/proofs per hour of shooting.

Prints:

• Range from $2 to $25 and up
• Mounted canvas prints start at $160

Is editing included, or is it extra?

There are two types of editing that I do. The first type is "techinical retouching" and is included with all packages and hourly sessions. The second is "artistic effects" which is usually a special request by the bride and is charged by the hour.

What does the "Mayan" name have do do with your photography?

The name was inspired by my love for the beauty and uniqueness of Mexico and the Mayan Riviera. (If you'd liketo see a few photos of my travels to that area, please visit the mayan riviera photo page.) Your photos will not be Mayan 'themed' of course, but I will strive to capture your day's beauty in its own unique way.

Can I hire you to take photos of something not listed under your "services" page?

Yes. These are my most popular services, but I can take photos of almost anything. Please feel free to contact me with specifics about your photography project!
