About Naomi Maya, Freelance Photographer in Vancouver

Though I usually find it easy to write, coming up with something to say about oneself is a harder task!

I'm a freelance photographer in Vancouver, BC, (well Abbotsford to be more specific) a visual person, and an artist at heart. I love making things "beautiful". My goal for my photography is to create excellence in my images, that will be treasured for years to come.

I have been into photography for the past several years (since about 1996). I started out with film and developing images in my own darkroom. I have studied photography, lighting and various other related subjects at Focal Point in Vancouver and Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. In 2005, I switched to digital and now have access to some of the most amazing tools available to the digital freelance photographer.
